Training is being given to talented athletes of remote hilly areas
The establishment of Eklavya Sports Academy Archery Center was announced during Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s stay in Jashpur. With the efficient actions of the district administration, the Chief Minister’s announcement has been implemented. The Archery Center and Eklavya Sports Academy built at a cost of 91 lakh 98 thousand is being operated in the premises of Ranjita Stadium to enhance the talent of the athletes of the remote forest areas of the district. It is noteworthy that the selected children have been provided free education, training and full arrangement of accommodation. In the academy, 10 children each are taking training in archery, taekwondo and Swimming.
It is noteworthy that the institute includes training facilities for archery, taekwondo and swimming under which a total of 30 students have been selected and are being provided training.
